Hexham has independent shops, galleries, and parks, making it a delightful stop in Northumberland's Tyne Valley.

Alston is the highest market town in England, sitting 1000 feet above sea level and a beautiful part of England’s landscapes. Alston is well worth exploring for its steeply cobbled streets, hidden courtyards and quaint shops that invite exploration at every turn.
