ENjoy a day trip the Harrogate Autumn Flower Show featuring wonderful indoor floral installations, top plant nurseries offering a wide range of plants for sale as well as a packed programme of live talks and demonstrations. The ever-popular giant vegetable competition sees the ultimate battle of the bulge as gigantic vegetables including over-sized onions, king-size carrots, podgy pumpkins and monster marrows compete for top spot.
In addition, there are plenty of great shopping opportunities with dozens of exhibitors selling high-quality garden products, unique handmade crafts, lovely gifts and specialist foods.

Flower Show
Spring Harrogate Flower show is the first major event on the gardening calendar, welcoming the new season with a spectacular celebration of the very best in horticulture.
With past events being voted as Britain's top gardening event by Which? Magazine, this prestigious event features over 100 plant nurseries, great shopping and live entertainment and the biggest exhibition by florist and flower arrangers in the country.
Should you wish to take a break from interacting with the amazing, varied exhibition, there are also four live theatres which show a wide variety of demonstrations, with 'The Plot to Pot Cookery Theatre' featuring delicious seasonal dishes from the region's top chefs, or pose questions to experts in the 'Dig It Garden Theatre' or 'Kitchen Garden Live Theatre'.
Britain's biggest floral marquee will also be at the show, featuring over 150 painstakingly prepared individual works of art as well as a full programme of demonstrations with tips from a range of experts every day of the show.
