Temple Newsam House, Museum & Walled Gardens

With more than 500 years of history, this magnificent Tudor mansion offers visitors the chance to step back in time and explore over 40 richly decorated rooms, showcasing outstanding collections of fine and decorative arts, furniture, ceramics, silver and paintings.

Outside, discover the peaceful Walled Garden, with its original brick walls, colourful herbaceous borders, rose beds and herbs. The wider gardens feature formal planting, a laburnum archway and beautiful seasonal displays, making them ideal for a leisurely stroll and a relaxing break.
