Studley Castle - Warners - Stratford

Enjoy a 4 nights / 5 day Christmas break staying at the superb Studley Castle Warners hotel Nestled in the glorious Warwickshire Countryside on a Bed, Breakfast & Evening meal basis.

 

Studley Castle is a Grade II*listed building set in rural Warwickshire, 13 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon. Built in 1834 in the Gothic Revival style, it’s now a luxurious 200-room hotel.

A £50 million renovation has restored the castle rooms and lounges, converted the former riding stables into a spa with excellent leisure facilities, and added two contemporary restaurants.

Enjoy the fresh air with walks aplenty or try your hand at a selection of traditional sports. A well-appointed gym and yoga and pilates classes offer the chance to re-energise right inside The Stables Spa. You can even borrow one of our Pashley bikes to explore the grounds.

 

The hotel has Archery, Crossbow and shooting for those a little bit more enthusiastic.

We include 2 days excursions with this tour.

Day 1 -   After boarding the coach at your local pick up point we travel to the Studley Castle Hotel in Warwickshire with a comfort stop on route.  Evening meal will be served later.

Day 2 - After breakfast we depart for an excursion to Stow on the Wold for free time to explore - a vibrant and historic market town with lots to offer visitors on a day out in The Cotswolds. At nearly 800ft, Stow is the highest of the Cotswold towns, located on the Roman Fosse Way and at the point where several roads meet. 

The Market Square is large and impressive and testifies to the town’s former importance. It is surrounded by town houses, independent shops, antique centres, cosy cafes and inns all built in the mellow local stone, and it has been the focus of town life over many centuries, with the medieval market stocks at one end, the ancient market cross at the other and the impressive St Edwards Hall standing in the centre. The must-see highlights have to be the Market Square and St Edward's Church.  We then continue our journey onto Bourton on the Water for free time -" The Venice of the Cotswolds".  Bourton is home to a variety of shops, restaurants and art galleries, making it a great place to visit.

The River Windrush flows gently through the centre of Bourton on the Water providing a pretty focal point for the village alongside the green. Althought the village is small there are an abundance of  shops, cafes and attractions for the whole family.  After free time we return back to the hotel for evening meal

Day 3 - A day at leisure to explore the hotel and it's surrounding areas.

Day 4 - After breakfast we depart for a full day's excursion to Birmingham -  Britain's 2nd largest city with it's famous Bullring shopping centre homing Europe's largest Primark store. Enjoy a top notch shopping and dining experience at the Bullring with it's leading fashion brands and restaurants galore.  We then transfer you back to hotel for Evening meal.

Day 5 - After Breakfast we depart for home.
