Tours of the gardens and grounds, activities such as archery and rifle shooting, a 20-metre indoor pool, gym, sauna, and bubble pool complete the relaxation experience.

This tour includes  2 full days excursions

Day 1. After boarding the coach at your local pick up point we travel to the beautiful Alvaston Hall hotel with a comfort stop on route.  Later in the evening Dinner will be served.

Day 2. After breakfast we depart for a day out in Chester - The ancient city is a truly breathtaking experience. Each chapter of Chester's history is etched into the very fabric of the city. Well, you are walking where Roman Legionaires marched to war, Viking raiders wreaked havoc and Norman invaders conquered Anglo Saxons.

Chester has the most complete city walls, the oldest racecourse and the largest Roman Amphitheatre in Britain, plus a 1000 year old Cathedral with Europe's finest example of medieval carvings - and of course the one and only 700 year old Rows galleries where shopping is a double delight.

You'll find stores galore offering the hottest fashion in Chester all set against a background of unique treasures of antiquity and a vibrant cafe culture where outdoor dining and people watching go hand in hand.

We leave Chester and return back to the hotel for the Evening meal.

 

Day 3.  Enjoy a day at leisure exploring the hotel and it's surrounding areas.

 

Day 4.  After breakfast we depart hotel to enjoy a day out at Bakewell & Matlock Bath - Bakewell offers a charming day out full of rich heritage and tradition.  Surrounded by glorious countryside, the town offers charming tea rooms set in cosy courtyards, impressive stone buildings, a quaint five-arched bridge that goes back to Roman times, a Grade I listed church, a museum, historic almshouses, and various riverside attractions.

Matlock Bath - The town is still a wonderful place to visit, with a long street of shops, cafes, amusement arcades and places of interest, including an aquarium and photographic museum. The riverside walks are great for peaceful, shady strolls.

We leave to return back to hotel for Evening Meal

 

Day 5.  After breakfast we depart for home.
